Can anyone help with these queries?

SEPTEMBER

I have been told that my great grand parents were Punch and Montgomery and I cannot find
anything about them. Supposedly they were from Lost Creek in Wayne County Missouri. Do
you have any idea?

I visited St. Louis in July of this year and was able to do a little research (not nearly enough!) in Maries County, where my grandparents were married. I kept running into blank walls when I tried to learn more about my great-grandfather, James Lovel (or Lovell) and his wife Elizabeth (Ledbetter). Anyone who has access to historical records in Maries County or Pulaski County, please get in touch with me! Email direct at: Deborah Lovel Bryner

Leander W. Cone, Co. E, 11th MO. Cavalry He apparently enlisted in 1st Battery Independent Kansas Light Artillery in July of 1861 but deserted on June 8, 1862. According to their family bible they believe (and the National Parks Service Soldiers and Saliors shows a Leander W. Cone in Co. E, 11th MO. Cavalry) that he joined the 11th MO. Cavalry. Also according to the history he died in Andersonville (or in action) but they can find no evidence of either. Can you help me to help them or can you point me in the right direction?
